Q. How fast can you draw?

A. I draw at an average rate of 5 min per portrait, or, 12/hr.

Q. How far do you travel for events?

A. Anywhere within a 150km radius of my location in Ayr. Please be aware that I do charge a $1.44/km transportation fee for events over 30km away from me. Also be aware that a minimum three hours of time booked is required for events over 50km away from me.

If you are a charity, non-profit, or similar organization hosting an event, please reach out to chat about possible discounts. Also, if you’re hosting a large event and need multiple artists for more than three hours, please let me know and we can discuss a custom quote!

Q. What can I expect to happen on the day of the event?

A. I will arrive 30 min early to set up. It is helpful for me if you let me know ahead of time where you would like me to be, as well as whether or not there will be any equipment prepared ahead of time for me to use, ie tent, table, chairs, ect.

Anyone may approach me to get their complimentary caricature drawn, and I will draw as many people as I am able for the duration of my booked time, with 15 min breaks every 3 hours if applicable.

Q. How does the booking process work?

A. You may contact me through either email: havfarenhorst@gmail.com or phone: 519-465-9531 to book the time and day of your event. I require a 50% deposit of the total cost of your event to be paid ahead of time in order to reserve your space. I will send you an email with a short (1.5 pages) contract to be signed and a copy of the invoice for the event. The deposit and invoice total may be paid via credit card (which will incur 3% processing fee) or e-transfer (no fee).
